Dressed for a road trip
I have been really loving dressing my girls in beautiful outfits from Charlie and Me and Pumpkin Patch. I’ve partnered up with both companies to showcase their clothes and they are beautiful.
I love them so much that when it came time to buy my niece clothes for Christmas I headed straight into Pumpkin Patch and bought a divine outfit.
For our recent trip to Bright, Victoria I allowed Kalyra to choose her own clothes from the Charlie and Me website.
Kalyra was born with a style gene that completely missed me. I always trust what she’ll select. Most of the time, to my eye, I would never choose it, and I wonder if this could be the one bad choice she made.
But, she’ll put the outfit on and will look so beautiful.
I wish I could do the same.
She also helped me choose Savannah’s outfits.
The postie delivered right on time to go on our road trip.
We spent the day at the Illawarra Fly, just outside of Kiama. It offered beautiful views from the escarpment over the valley to the beaches of Kiama. Not far from here was the Minnamurra Rainforest, which was a beautiful spot for a gentle walk. We opted out of the longer hike up to the waterfall. It just wasn’t working with the pram and the five year old legs.
It was a beautiful relaxing day, but we were all ready to collapse into bed exhausted by the end of it.
Charlie and Me Outfits
Kalyra
Peach cottonfrill sundress: $19.50
Savannah
Hibiscus spotted romper: $18.50
Striped hat: $12.50
Charlie and me pyjamas: $19.50 each
These are the normal prices of the clothes online. Charlie and Me is currently having a sale offering discounts on these clothes. They also have a lot of sales and discounts, like free postage or buy one get one half price, both of which happened to me when I was buying.
I got an extra $40 worth of clothes for free because of the sales. Bargain. Great for Chrissy and delivery is really quick.
What outfits do you like dressing your children in? Have they been born with a style gene as well?

Hi Caz check out Babes in the Shade for swimwear. Cutest ever and I always buy what’s on sale for a great price.
I also have a 5 year old and a 1 year old and it’s nice to see someone else puts the long bushwalks in the too hard basket! Sometimes by the time you make the walk they’re too tired to appreciate the end result.

I think I have seen them recently. Great suggestion Jane thank you!! We’ll be happy when the girls are old enough to do the long walks but for now we’ll take the short fun stuff. Kalyra actually made a 10km walk the other day. We had to carry her a bit, but I was immensely proud of her. It was a pretty easy track and we took lots of breaks
