Gratitude and happiness: Remarkables, Costco, early morning rises
Joining The Remarkables
If you missed our good news this week over on y travel blog. We have joined The Remarkables Group and Lorraine Murphy and her team will be looking after all our PR/advertising. Thank goodness because we are crap at it and she is really good. We were so grateful for the support and feedback we received from our announcement.
Birdsnest
I received a gift pack from Birdsnest.com.au the other day. I had never heard of them before. It’s an online store full of clothes and gifts for the woman! I really love it. I as a little lost in their this morning shopping around when I should have been working. I already have my eye on a few dresses and jewellery. Can you buy yourself a Christmas present?
Anyway I loved how the gifts came wrapped and in little boxes. One for my outdoor personality and one for my party girl, Now Kalrya and I are fighting over the nail polish. Nail Romance would be proud I am embracing the bold!

Salmon burgers from Costco
I almost dedicated a whole post to this. It’s amazing how much two people can get excited about a warehouse filled with bulk goods. As we say it is all about the memories. The salmon burgers we’ve dreamed of since we left Raleigh two years ago. A short walk from our home was Costco where we’d stock up on salmon burgers and giant tubs of houmous. We visited Costco in Sydney for the first time during the week and were so excited wandering around trying food and stocking up the trolley, especially with salmon burgers. Yum!
Early morning rises and new email series
I’ve gotten up at 4:30am every day this week. I start my day with a simple yoga practice, meditation and then writing. I am powering through work and have finished my new email series sharing my most powerful magic tips which will be out soon!
Song of the week: Tennessee Line by Daughtry
I rediscovered some tunes on an old ipod this week. One of my favourite songs by Daughtry has been replayed several times this week. I LOVE this song and the message in it.
What I’m reading:
She who dies with the most likes wins by Jessica Valenti, from The Nation I love this look at likeability and how women need to lean more into their ambitions and aim for success rather than being liked.
Accepting the warm rays of the sun by Gluten Free Girl another post looking at the need to be liked in a social media world and choosing to switch off from that. There are certainly aspects of my life I’m wanting to switch off from lately.
Stopping to smell the roses by Kim from Working Women Australia I like this reminder to disconnect and be present.

What are you loving this week?

The Valenti article was very thought provoking and most def spoke to me – another thing I’m working on! As for Costco – we used to shop there every fortnight in Canada and always spent more than we planned….so many great deals!!

Oh it is the best! I think I’ve convinced all my family members now to shop there. There might even be one opening up closer to us now which is so exciting

Oh my gosh salmon burgers from Costco! It’s been ages since I’ve had a Costco membership, but I lived on those things in college–the best thing to just toss on the Foreman!

We have been having one a day!!! Making up for lost time.
P.S I read Foreman as to be the foreman of a work site. Took me awhile to get over how crazy you were for throwing a salmon burger on the poor guy
