7 THINGS I LOVE THIS WEEK
So many things to be grateful for and love this week, including this beautiful girl.
Becoming the Official correspondent for the Great Crusade
We announced on our blogs this week that Qantas have asked us to be one of the official correspondents for the Great Crusade tour of New Zealand. If you can’t love that what can you love!!
So very excited as it is, not just a big travel adventure goal, but the opportunity to work with a major travel brand, which we have been working towards since we started blogging. And we are extra stoked that it is Qantas as we have always loved flying with them.
Turning Negative into Positives
After having a shocker on my travel blog this week with a post that unintentionally turned political, I decided I needed to do something to make it better and to stop letting it rent space in my head. It really upset me for various reasons.
I wrote a post on this blog lessons learned from a blog post that goes wrong. It made me feel so much better and helped me turn a negative into a positive.
Inspiring Quote of the Week
“Everything that’s really worthwhile in life comes to us free- our minds, our souls, our bodies, our hopes, our dreams, our intelligence, our love of family and friends and country. All of these priceless possessions are free.”
More Guest Posts Published this Week
This week I was featured on Sunny Mummy and had three guest posts published “Love or Fear, which one is driving your life” and “Watch your Words: 8 ways you can Choose your words more Carefully” and “Living in foreign country with your children”
And don’t forget the great guest post that Tahlia from the Parenting Files wrote for Mojito Mother on Helping Your Child Get Through Rough Patches
Fave Blog Post of the Week- Podcasting with Cliff Ravenscraft
This week my favourite was actually a podcast episode I heard on Blog Cast FM. It was an interview with Cliff Ravenscraft. I found it really inspiring to listen to, not so much of the helpful podcasting tips, but more due to the inspiring story of Cliff and his success and his very wise words about how to attract success in your own life.
He is very passionate about what he does and has the purpose to help and serve others, which is very much in alignment to what I believe success is about.
Song of the Week- Moves Like Jagger Maroon 5
I wasn’t sure about this song when I first heard it but it is definitely growing on me, and I find myself moving like Jagger whenever I hear it.
