Playground, pelican feeding, and picnics at sunset
I just love hanging out with my girls.
So many days are trying and I’m reaching for the gin bottle at 5pm without a second thought.
Other days, I’m ready to quit on the travelling we do because, with 2 small girls, it is a massive hassle.
But then the days that are so blissful make the hard days slip into the land of forgotten memories.
I love to sit back and watch the bond between them develop and see their personalities emerge. They make me laugh so much with their little dances, cute sayings (wordless for Savannah) and impish behaviour.
Last Sunday we had a relaxing family day together playing in the playground, watching the famous pelican feeding at The Entrance and following it up with a pizza picnic at Crackneck Point with the sunset and the magpies. It was really disastrous, which you can read about here, but we sure had some fun doing what we could to scare the magpies away.
Those birds are scary! And when one knocked over my wine, it was time to call it a night and head home.
Here are the photos from the day. I dressed the girls in my latest favourite Pumpkin Patch clothes. I love how they pop in colour and style.
